How to prepare the "Algerian Chorba" ?


                                                                         Chorba :

  • Ingredients :
- Mutton - An onion - A bouquet of celery, coriander - Some chickpea - Oil - 2 mixed tomatoes - ½ spoon of tomato paste - ½ cup crushed durum wheat (frik) - Dried mint (optional) - Some water - Salt pepper
  • Preparation :
- Mix onion with herbs.
- Return to the oil.
- Add the meat.
- Add tomato and tomato paste.
- Salt, pepper and simmer.
- Add the chickpeas.
- Cover with water and cook on a low  heat
- When the meat starts to become tender, add the frik
- Let it cook.
Serve with a little coriander and dried mint.
Enjoy it especially in Ramadan 😋
