Algerian crepes !

Baghrir ( Algerian crepes )

  • Ingredients :

-          - 1 bowl of fine semolina
-          - 1/2 bowl of flour
-          - 2 bowls of warm water
-          - 2 tbsp. coffee powdered sugar
-          -   baking powder
-          - 2 tbsp. baking yeast

  • Preparation :

1- Mix the flour, fine semolina, baking powder, baking powder and powdered sugar in a large bowl.
2- Dig a well in the center of the mixture and pour warm water. Mix well until smooth and homogeneous. Cover the container with a clean cloth and let the dough rest for 2 hours at room temperature.
3- After this rest period, oil a pancake pan and heat it over low heat. Using a small ladle, take some dough and pour it in the center of the pan. Cook until small holes form. Dispose of the pancake on a plate and repeat the process until the dough is gone. Serve hot or cold baghrirs.
