Oranges  are a popular type of citrus fruit because of their natural sweetness, wide variety of types and diversity of uses, from juices and marmalade to face masks and candied orange slices.
There are many different types of oranges available such as navel, mandarin, cara cara, blood oranges, Valencia and Seville oranges just to name a few. Some are very sweet and others have more of a sour taste.

Human bodies, unlike many other animals, do not manufacture Vitamin C, so a human needs vitamin C in their diet regularly. (so oranges are one of the best and cheapest sources of Vitamin C.

Oranges are also a very good source of dietary fiber. But they do not contain high amounts of minerals.
